You know how it is when you are raw feeding. You become obsessed with poop. There are three different poops int he box. I have caught Grover in the act of poop which is the only reason that I know he is the one with the loose stool. It smells really bad. I am assuming that the tiny poop is Oscar because it is buried and the normal poop is not; therefore leading me to believe that is Ranger. He never buries anything.
I mixed the ground pork with canned cat food. Oscar is puking like crazy. I am moving back to mixing it with canned Salmon. That is what I mixed the chicken with.
This is a record of switching my 3 male senior cats: Grover (13), Ranger (12) and Oscar (11) to rawfeeding.

Raw Feeding
After last fall when Grover got the sits on his ear, I really started thinking about the crappy kibble I was feeding the cats. later that year when I took my dogs to the vet, the vet was making fun of me for feeding the dogs raw and the cats feline McDonald's. I decided he was right. At the beginning of this summer, I started looking into switching my cats to raw. What a struggle. They complain... almost all the time... about the food. Oscar has gotten crabbier and beats up ranger more at night. Grover has loose yellow stool. Ranger has lost weight but I am not sure that is totally good. I have witnessed all of them eating but Grover is the only one that eats what I put down. Right now I am feeding ground chicken with bone and organ from Hare Today, Gone Tomorrow. I add scanned Salmon to the top and sprinkle it with cheese. All be told. I think they hate it. After watching Grover go to the litterbox today and having yellow loose stool come out, I decided that I need to go slower and record what I am doing. In the effort to not buy a new notebook, I created this blog.
